Brooklyn Historical Society Library Wedding

On their very windy, yet still gorgeous fall wedding day, Eric and Amanda met their family on the Brooklyn Promenade in Brooklyn Heights for a first look and family photos. The location offers stunning views of Lower Manhattan and the Rivers. After some group and couple shots we all ventured over to the Brooklyn Historical Society to prepare for the nuptials. The wedding ceremony was held in the library and then it was converted for cocktail hour. What a special place, with all the books and beautiful two story atrium! I had fun getting to shoot from the second level. Dinner and dancing were served on the main floor which also has an exhibition space guests can peruse. A very historic venue but with all the modern elements to create any kind of reception setting you like. Eric and Amanda added to the fun by having a special photo booth set-up run by Eric’s colleagues.
