Dene Summerhouse Elopement

On the edge of Central Park near 5th Ave. and 67th streets, there is a walkway that takes one from the hustle and bustle of a busy street into a magical landscape. The Dene Summerhouse sits on top of a rocky hill overlooking a lawn and the native meadow. The rustic shelter is covered with vines much of the year and offers a beautiful location for a wedding or elopement.

For this couple, looking to marry safely during the pandemic, it offered a perfect spot for their nature inspired wedding. The bride wore a flower crown from Stems Brooklyn with a matching bouquet and boutonniere. She embroidered a motif on the grooms mask to match his tie.

After the ceremony, photos were taken near the native meadow, Bethesda Terrace, Bow Bridge, and in The Ramble. The couple, who are avid bird watchers, brought their binoculars along to capture their past time on their special day. We found this beautiful meadow in The Ramble for the ending shot.

Congrats!!!
