It was May, and May is suppose to be a bit cooler but for Emma and Sean’s wedding it was in the mid 90s! Not exactly typical NYC Spring here, but everyone of their guests from England rolled with it and an Aunt even bought everyone ice cream! The day started off at the Renaissance Hotel 57 with getting ready in a lovely suite with hair and make-up from Miss Harlequin, Lucy Flint. Emma had some beautiful details including a dress from BHLDN and flowers from L’Oasis floral design.
I traveled with the guys to the ceremony site at Shakespeare’s Garden in Central Park. However, I wish I had gone with the bride because she got an acknowledgement from comedian Amy Schumer who was jogging by the park! Nice wedding day story though! There was a string quartet, The Highline Quartet, for the ceremony by Mirelle Eid of Officiant NYC.
Following the ceremony we walked through the park, and yes it was hot. But Emma, Sean and their family members were troopers. We hit their favorite locations including the Boathouse, where everyone had dinner after photos) Strawberry Fields, Cat Rock and the Bethesda Terrace and Mall.
Despite the heat we had a great time and I wish the sweet couple many more years of happiness together!
