Future home of Cookie Road, Greenpoint, Brooklyn 2007

Polish immigrants Jerzy and Aneta Szot opened Cookie Road, a bakery and coffee shop in their converted garage, at 94 Franklin Street in 2009. After operating a successful business for six years, they sold the business at the end of 2015 to retire. The garage is to the right of the photo which was taken prior to the opening of the shop. The shop featured hand painted sugar cookies and delicious, affordable sandwiches. In 2007 the building featured a red fire escape, yellow siding and a recently planted tree.

Location: 94 Franklin St, Brooklyn, NY 11222.
